I was born and raised in Alaska and have always enjoyed spending time in nature, appreciating its beauty and wonder. Alaska has some spectacular landscapes, with wild nature at the cities edge. I've enjoyed hiking in the Chugach Mountains and surrounding areas. I look for natural beauty wherever I go. The places I've been and trails I've hiked make up much of the subject matter for my paintings. I have primarily been painting in acrylics and watercolor, but like using various mediums from time to time.

While I love landscape painting, I was honored to design both the 2025 90th Anniversary Anchorage Fur Rondy Collector Pin, "Raven Spirit," as well as the 2026 Fur Rondy Collector Pin. I was also selected by the Alaska Railroad Corporation to complete a painting, "Ship Creek Crossing," for their annual print to be issued January 2026.
